Bannu Operation: President Asif Zardari Lauds KP Police, CTD After 8 Terrorists Neutralized President Asif Ali Zardari has highly commended the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for executing a highly successful anti-terrorist operation in Bannu. The President praised the tactical capabilities and preparedness of the law enforcement agencies after eight terrorists were eliminated during the encounter. Recognition of Security Forces' Professionalism According to an official statement issued by the Presidency, President Zardari emphasized that the swift and coordinated action by the police and CTD averted a major threat. He added that the security forces continue to display unparalleled competence in uprooting terrorism from the region. Tribute to the Martyred Officer The Head of State paid rich tribute to the brave police officer who embraced martyrdom (Shahadat) while fighting the terrorists. He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and acknowledged the supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty. "The sacrifices of our martyrs remain a source of immense pride for the entire nation.
