Jamal Raisani Warns of ‘Digital War’ Against Pakistan and Balochistan

Jamal Raisani Warns of ‘Digital War’ Against Pakistan and Balochistan QUETTA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Nawabzada Jamal Raisani, accompanied by Provincial Ministers Ali Madad Jattak and Asim Kurd Gello, addressed a press conference in Quetta, expressing concerns over what he described as a coordinated campaign aimed at destabilizing Pakistan and Balochistan.

Raisani said that the country was facing a “silent war” in which the minds of young people were being targeted through digital platforms and social media. He claimed that hostile elements were attempting to weaken Pakistan and create instability in Balochistan through online propaganda and recruitment networks.

The PPP leader alleged that banned militant organizations were increasingly relying on digital communication platforms for coordination, recruitment, and operational planning. He emphasized that modern conflicts were no longer limited to the battlefield and were increasingly being fought in cyberspace and on social media.

Raisani stated that the government and society must work together to prevent youth from being influenced by extremist and separatist narratives. He stressed that young people should be provided with opportunities in education, employment, and development rather than being drawn into violence.

He also expressed concern over the reported involvement of women in activities linked to militant organizations, describing it as a new trend that required serious attention.

The PPP lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to protecting the unity of Pakistan and said that no one would be allowed to pursue separatist politics in the name of Balochistan.
