Defence and Martyrs’ Day: Dignified Ceremonies Held Across Balochistan, Glowing Tribute Paid to Martyrs

Defence Day Events from Quetta to Gwadar, People of Balochistan Express Solidarity with Pakistan Army

Quetta — On the solemn occasion of Defence and Martyrs’ Day, dignified ceremonies were held across Balochistan, including Quetta and Gwadar, where rich tributes were paid to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defence of the country.

According to details, special Defence Day ceremonies were organized in various cities across the province, including the provincial capital Quetta, Gwadar, Chaman, Zhob, Sibi, Loralai and Dera Murad Jamali. Ceremonies commemorating the martyrs were also held in Qila Saifullah, Kohlu, Barkhan, Sui, Sohbatpur, Lehri, Jhal Magsi and Gandawah.

Senior civil and military officials, district administration officers and large numbers of citizens participated in these ceremonies.

Gwadar Decorated with Patriotic Messages

On the occasion of Defence Day, the roads of the coastal city of Gwadar were specially decorated. Banners displayed across the city carried messages highlighting national resolve, steadfastness, courage and sacrifice.

During the ceremonies, Pakistan Army officers and soldiers, along with local citizens, visited the memorials of martyrs, laid floral wreaths and offered Fateha for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks.

The people of Balochistan demonstrated a strong spirit of patriotism and expressed solidarity with the security forces. They also paid glowing tribute to the immortal sacrifices of the martyrs who laid down their lives for the defence and security of the country.
