Women’s T20 Tri-Series: Pakistan Suffers Second Consecutive Defeat as Ireland Wins by 7 Wickets

Dublin (Sports Desk) Pakistan Women’s team suffered its second consecutive defeat in the Women’s T20 Tri-Series, as host nation Ireland delivered an impressive performance to secure a 7-wicket victory.

Batting first, Pakistan Women posted 176 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted overs, setting Ireland a target of 177 runs for victory.

In response, Ireland Women produced an excellent batting display and successfully chased down the target with only 3 wickets lost. For Ireland, Rebecca Stokell scored 60 runs, while Amy Hunter contributed 56 runs, playing key roles in their team’s victory.

Pakistan Women will now play their third match of the series against West Indies on June 3, where the national side will aim to secure a win and revive its campaign in the tournament.
