Washington/New York — US President Donald Trump has publicly shared a statement by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif concerning what Pakistan describes as unprovoked Indian aggression, highlighting Islamabad’s position on the matter.

President Trump shared on his social media account the Prime Minister’s statement regarding Indian provocation and Pakistan’s response.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had stated during his address to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly that India had used what he described as fabricated pretexts to launch unprovoked aggression, to which Pakistan’s armed forces, under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, responded.

The Prime Minister said the Pakistan Army demonstrated a high level of military skill and professionalism in its response, adding that India would not forget the outcome of the confrontation.
