ISLAMABAD: The Zil Hajj 1447 AH moon has been sighted in Pakistan, officially marking the commencement of the holy month. Consequently, Eid ul Adha will be celebrated across the country on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
The formal declaration was issued following a plenary meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which gathered to collect and evaluate testimonies of moon sightings from various parts of the country.
