SIFC Support Drives Industrial Development, Investment and Export Growth
Pakistan’s efforts to improve the ease of doing business, promote industrial development and attract investment are continuing through reform initiatives supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
A key meeting was held between Haroon Akhtar, the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Industries and Production, SIFC officials and a delegation of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
The meeting focused on improving the business environment, digital transformation, the Ease of Doing Business Programme and tapping into Sindh’s development potential.
With the support of SIFC, Karachi Industrial Park has been approved as a federal Special Economic Zone.
The park will offer access to port facilities, fully developed infrastructure and special incentives for export-oriented industries.
These facilities and incentives are expected to help attract industrial investment, enhance business competitiveness and boost Pakistan’s exports.
