Shaheryar Memon Hosts High-Level Dinner for Federal Ministers and Governor Balochistan
ISLAMABAD: Focal Person for Overseas Affairs, Business and Trade Linkages at the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Shaheryar Memon, hosted a high-profile dinner reception in Islamabad attended by federal and provincial ministers, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, parliamentarians, senior civil and military officials, and prominent business personalities.
The event brought together leading political, administrative, and business figures from across Pakistan to discuss the country’s economic outlook, trade opportunities, and investment potential.
Among the notable attendees were Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, former federal minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, MNA Khurshid Ahmed Junejo, businessman and parliamentarian Dr. Ikhtiar Baig, senior politician Sardar Latif Khosa, Provincial Minister for Fisheries Balochistan Barkat Ali Khan Rind, and Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Balochistan Muhammad Khan Lehri.
The ceremony was jointly presided over by Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh and Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail.
Addressing the gathering, Shaheryar Memon said Pakistan’s economy was moving towards stability, while trade and investment activities were gaining momentum. He highlighted the country’s potential to become part of the global supply chain network and stressed the importance of overseas Pakistanis in attracting foreign investment and strengthening economic ties with international markets.
Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said Pakistan remained an attractive destination for foreign investors and assured full government support and facilitation for international businesses. He added that Special Economic Zones (SEZs) were becoming increasingly important for industrial relocation and investment opportunities.
Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said Pakistan’s relations with the international community were improving and described Gwadar Port as a strategically important hub connecting Central Asia and the Middle East through regional trade corridors.
Speakers at the event expressed confidence in Pakistan’s economic future and emphasized the country’s growing role in the global economy.
