While speaking on a morning show, she said that mothers often adopt a strict attitude with children because they are responsible for their complete care from morning till night, including education, food, homework, and daily discipline.
According to the actress, when a mother spends the entire day managing children’s upbringing and household responsibilities, it is natural for her patience to run out by the end of the day. However, husbands often only witness the moment when the mother expresses fatigue or anger and ignore her full day of effort.
She said that if parental roles are exchanged even temporarily, most people would not be able to handle the pressure, as continuous childcare is a very demanding responsibility.
Sarwat Gilani advised men to appreciate their wives’ efforts, encourage them, and respect their role in front of the children.
Speaking about the role of fathers, she said that a father’s behavior is often linked to his own upbringing and family environment, and children who grow up emotionally or physically distant from their fathers can carry those effects into their future behavior.
She added that sometimes mothers become overly emotionally close to their sons, which can create imbalance in their future family roles.
