Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq against terrorists was continuing with full force during his visit to the Command and Staff College in Quetta on Tuesday.
Addressing faculty members and officers at the college, the prime minister praised the professionalism, operational preparedness, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He paid tribute to the military for what he described as a historic success achieved under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan had demonstrated responsible and restrained conduct in response to Indian aggression and reiterated that the country would defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Kashmir and Palestine.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir received the prime minister upon his arrival at the institution. Federal ministers and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti also accompanied the premier during the visit.
Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Islamabad after completing his one-day visit to Quetta. Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail saw him off at the airport.
During his stay in Quetta, the prime minister chaired a meeting of the Balochistan Apex Committee, where participants reviewed the province’s overall law and order situation and took important decisions regarding security and public safety.
The prime minister also held meetings with the Governor of Balochistan and various delegations during the visit.
