Pakistan-China Pharmaceutical Conference to Open Avenues for Healthcare and Industrial Cooperation

Islamabad: With the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Pakistan and China are entering a new phase of cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, focused on advanced technology transfer and industrial collaboration.

In this connection, a major conference is being organised jointly by the Federal Ministry of Health and the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP).

Two-Day B2B Investment Conference in Islamabad

The Pakistan-China Pharmaceutical and Healthcare B2B Investment Conference will be held in Islamabad on July 17 and 18.

The two-day event aims to promote investment and strengthen commercial ties between the two countries in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotechnology sectors.

Key Objectives and Agenda of the Conference

Industrial cooperation and joint ventures: The conference will include detailed discussions on opportunities for joint ventures and contract manufacturing between businesses from both countries.

Technology transfer and local production: Strategies will be developed to transfer advanced medical technology from China to Pakistan and increase the local production of medicines.

Business-to-business meetings: Special B2B sessions and networking opportunities will be provided for investors, manufacturers and senior officials.

Research cooperation: Mutual collaboration in research and development within the healthcare and biotechnology sectors will also be promoted.
