Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also criticized the reported actions, saying that similar controversial measures had followed the Pahalgam incident.

Meanwhile, Amnesty International stated that it has observed a significant increase in alleged human rights violations, coercive measures, and security operations in Jammu and Kashmir, describing the situation as deeply concerning for regional stability.
