Gaza (Monitoring Desk) In Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, 5 Palestinians including a 9-year-old child were martyred, while several others were also injured.
According to officials, in the Rimal area of Gaza City, a drone targeted a vehicle by firing two missiles, as a result of which 4 people were martyred and 6 injured.
Similarly, in a separate incident in eastern Khan Younis in southern Gaza, 9-year-old Adil was martyred when drone attacks and artillery shelling were taking place simultaneously.
The Israeli army claimed that a suspicious person was approaching military forces in the area and posed an immediate threat, however no evidence was provided in support of this claim.
Families present outside Nasser Hospital said that the child was collecting pieces of cardboard to make a fire for cooking food.
According to the report, despite the ceasefire in October 2025, attacks on Gaza continue. Since the war that began on 7 October 2023, 72,594 people have been martyred and 172,404 people have been injured.
