Tehran (Monitoring Desk)The United Arab Emirates has accused Iran of carrying out missile and drone attacks, claims that Iranian authorities have strongly denied, calling them baseless.
According to international media reports, Emirati officials stated that their air defense systems successfully intercepted the alleged attacks. However, a drone reportedly crashed at an oil facility in Fujairah port, triggering a fire.
On the other hand, Iranian Armed Forces spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari clarified that Iran has not conducted any missile or aerial operations against the UAE in recent days. He said such accusations are unfounded and part of a negative propaganda campaign against Iran.
The Iranian spokesperson also warned the UAE not to allow its territory to be used for any activities against Iran, particularly in the context of the presence of U.S. and Israeli forces. He stated that if Emirati territory is used against Iran, it would be met with a strong response.
Experts say that the recent exchange of allegations and statements has further intensified tensions in the Gulf region, raising concerns about regional stability and the global energy supply.
