Afghan Freedom Front Claims 21 Major Operations Against Taliban Forces

Kabul: There has been a significant increase in the military activities of armed and political resistance movements against the Taliban government in Afghanistan. The armed group Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has released official details of 21 major operations carried out against Taliban forces across various provinces over the past month.

Details of Military Operations from July 23 to August 22

According to a report published on the Afghanistan Freedom Front’s official social media platform, Taliban military infrastructure and security installations were systematically targeted between July 23 and August 22.

Main Focus: Badakhshan

Badakhshan remained the primary area of operations, with intense clashes reported around Zebak and Faizabad.

Affected Provinces:

In addition to Badakhshan, attacks were reported against key Taliban installations in Baghlan, Nangarhar, Faryab, Nuristan and Panjshir.

Rocket Attacks on Airports:

Major military airports in Kabul and Kunduz were reportedly targeted with missiles and rockets.

Military Losses:

The report claims that Taliban military convoys, checkpoints, drones and weapons were destroyed during the operations, while several personnel were reportedly killed or wounded.

Signs of a Weakened Taliban Military Grip: Security Experts

According to defense and security analysts, the reported systematic attacks on Taliban military centers, convoys and airports indicate that the Taliban’s military grip may be weakening in parts of the country.

Experts believe that simultaneous operations by the Afghanistan Freedom Front, the National Resistance Front (NRF) and the Afghanistan United Front have emerged as a significant military challenge for the Taliban regime.
