CEO of Global Policy and Research Centre Adeel Shuja Butt Meets RUDA Delegation in Baku, Discusses World Urban Forum 2026

BAKU: CEO of the Global Policy and Research Centre , Adeel Shuja Butt, held an important meeting in Baku with a delegation from the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), Punjab. The meeting focused on urban development, modern infrastructure, investment opportunities, and matters related to the World Urban Forum 2026.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in the fields of economic development, trade, urban planning, and infrastructure. The visiting RUDA delegation showed keen interest in Baku’s ongoing development projects and advanced urban planning models.

Adeel Shuja Butt stated that relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan continue to grow stronger over time, adding that both countries can benefit from shared opportunities in urban development, housing, infrastructure, and investment sectors.

He further highlighted that international platforms such as the World Urban Forum 2026 play a significant role in promoting sustainable development, innovative urban planning, and the exchange of global experiences and ideas.

The RUDA delegation appreciated Azerbaijan’s development strategy and Baku’s modern urban management system, expressing optimism for stronger future collaboration and partnerships between the two sides.
