Los Angeles (Showbiz Desk): American film and television actor James Handy was fatally stabbed at his residence in Los Angeles. Police have taken a suspect into custody shortly after the incident.
According to foreign media reports, the 81-year-old actor was attacked at his home on June 3. Police received information about the incident in the morning, after which officers immediately responded to the scene.
According to police officials, James Handy was found seriously injured and unconscious. He had suffered stab wounds to the chest. He was rushed to a hospital, but he could not survive, and doctors later confirmed his death.
Reports state that a 44-year-old man identified as Michael Gladel was arrested at the scene. It is reported that the suspect himself contacted police and admitted that he had carried out the attack on James Handy.
