Unshakable Resolve: COAS Celebrates Eid with Frontline Troops in Zhob, Vows to Crush Foreign-Sponsored Terrorism

Zhob, Balochistan:

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), visited Zhob District in Balochistan to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha alongside frontline troops deployed along the Western frontiers. The visit underscored the military leadership's solidarity with soldiers safeguarding the nation's borders under challenging conditions.

The Army Chief commenced his visit by offering Eid prayers with the officers and soldiers. Special supplications were made for Pakistan’s enduring peace, stability, and economic prosperity, as well as for the Shuhada (martyrs) who laid down their lives in defense of the motherland.

Tribute to the Valour of Frontline Soldiers

Extending warm Eid greetings to the troops, General Asim Munir commended their exceptional grit, unwavering resolve, operational preparedness, and steadfast vigilance. He paid rich tributes to the soldiers for their unmatched courage in countering foreign-sponsored terrorism and hostile threats orchestrated by inimical forces.

"The nation owes its peace to the ultimate sacrifices and relentless vigilance of our brave soldiers standing guard on the frontiers," the COAS emphasized.

Response to Foreign-Sponsored Subversion

Defeating Hostile Proxies

Addressing the troops, the Army Chief explicitly referenced recent cowardly terrorist activities in Quetta, orchestrating a stern warning to hostile networks and their proxies attempting to destabilize Balochistan.

Morale Unshaken: General Asim Munir reaffirmed that brutal and sub-human acts of terror cannot weaken the resolve of the Pakistan Armed Forces or the resilience of the nation.

Full-Force Operations: He reiterated that the Armed Forces, in flawless coordination with law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and the resilient people of Balochistan, will continue to hunt down all facilitators, abettors, and perpetrators of terrorism with full force.

Honouring the Martyrs

Earlier upon his arrival, the COAS was received by Commander Quetta Corps. To formally honor the legacy of the fallen heroes, the Army Chief laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada (Martyrs' Monument), offering Fateha and paying rich homage to the brave sons of the soil.
