Mumbai (Showbiz Desk): Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has returned to social media after nearly a year-long break and has revealed the reason behind her absence.
The 38-year-old actress said that her decision to stay away from social media was not part of any publicity campaign or marketing strategy. Instead, she chose to step back for the sake of mental peace, personal well-being, and better use of her time.
Taapsee stated that the constant pressure to remain active online, stay in the spotlight, and continuously seek attention can be mentally exhausting.
She explained that she deleted all social media applications from her phone and shifted her focus toward real-life activities. During this period, she realized that social media had been consuming a significant portion of her time.
The actress acknowledged that staying away from social platforms could create professional challenges, as many commercial brands prefer working with artists who have a strong online presence.
According to Taapsee, companies should choose individuals based on their talent, work, and genuine identity rather than expecting them to become social media influencers.
She further shared that she is currently spending time in Denmark with her husband and family, where her daily routine includes household activities, gardening, cycling, and fitness-related pursuits.
