Karachi: Renowned Pakistani actress Kinza Hashmi has revealed that she faced persistent stalking and harassment from not just one but several dangerous individuals, making it difficult for her to trust others.
Speaking during a recent interview, Kinza Hashmi disclosed that an obsessed fan living abroad had managed to establish contact with employees at her home and allegedly won them over through financial incentives.
According to the actress, the household staff had been working with her for several years. However, she later discovered that they had secretly been providing the individual with private photographs of her home, personal belongings, and other confidential information.
Kinza Hashmi said that learning about the situation was deeply shocking and left a lasting impact on her ability to trust people.
Recalling another incident, she stated that a man had managed to reach the location where one of her dramas was being filmed and later attempted to locate her residence. However, he was unable to reach her because he did not know her exact address.
The actress said she had to seek assistance from the production staff present at the filming location to handle the situation. She added that such incidents can be extremely distressing for the affected person and often leave individuals feeling helpless.
Kinza Hashmi further noted that public figures frequently encounter such problems, but in many cases, filing formal complaints or pursuing legal action is not always easy.
