Qatari LNG vessel sails from Strait of Hormuz to China as energy flow continues

Qatari LNG vessel sails from Strait of Hormuz to China as energy flow continues

Beijing (Monitoring Desk) — Another liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier from Qatar, departing Doha, has crossed the Strait of Hormuz and is en route to China.

At the same time, Qatar’s negotiating team is reportedly engaged in talks in Tehran aimed at ceasefire efforts.

According to ship tracking data, the vessel departed from Qatar’s Ras Laffan port and is expected to arrive at a major gas terminal in China next month.

Despite regional tensions, energy supplies continue uninterrupted, and this is the third Qatari LNG carrier to pass through the Strait of Hormuz in recent days.

Reports suggest that two previous LNG shipments also used the same route, which is being viewed as a confidence-building development amid regional uncertainty.

Experts say the continued flow of global energy shipments despite the situation is a significant development.
