Police Martyrs' Day Observed Nationwide with Tributes from Military and Civil Leadership

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan observed Police Martyrs' Day with solemn ceremonies across the country, where military officials, civil authorities, police personnel, and citizens paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of police martyrs. Special prayers, wreath-laying ceremonies, and memorial events were held in major cities and districts to honor those who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Memorial Ceremonies Held Across Provincial Capitals

Major commemorative events took place in Karachi and Peshawar, attended by senior military and civilian leadership.

Karachi: The Chief Minister of Sindh and the Corps Commander Karachi laid floral wreaths at the Police Martyrs' Memorial at the Central Police Office and offered prayers for the departed officers.

Peshawar: At the central ceremony held at Police Lines Peshawar, the Corps Commander Peshawar, along with senior civil and military officials, paid tribute to the bravery and professionalism of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in the fight against terrorism.

Military Leadership Honors Police Martyrs in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Commemorative events were also organized in remote districts of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, recognizing the sacrifices of police personnel who gave their lives while maintaining peace and security.

• Balochistan: The Inspector General FC Balochistan (South) visited Police Lines Turbat, while the Inspector General FC Balochistan (North) visited memorials in Quetta, Dera Bugti, Zhob, Sibi, and Qila Saifullah, where they laid wreaths and met with the families of fallen officers.
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Other Districts: Military officers and personnel participated in remembrance ceremonies in Mohmand, Dera Ismail Khan, Dir, Chitral, Hangu, and other areas, reaffirming their commitment to working alongside the police in combating terrorism and ensuring national security.

The nationwide observance of Police Martyrs' Day reflected Pakistan's collective respect for the sacrifices of its police personnel and reaffirmed the nation's commitment to honoring the families of those who laid down their lives in the service of the country.
