Pakistan and Malaysia Agree to Further Expand Defence Cooperation at GHQ

Rawalpindi: Pakistan and Malaysia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening strategic ties and further expanding defence cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Malaysian Minister of Home Affairs Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, accompanied by a high-level delegation and the Malaysian Ambassador, visited General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. He held an important meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces.

Detailed Discussions on Regional Security and Mutual Interests

The meeting focused on the overall regional security situation and matters of mutual interest. Both sides appreciated the longstanding and historic fraternal ties between Pakistan and Malaysia and agreed to further strengthen cooperation across areas of shared interest.
