Major Pakistan Army Operation in Bannu: 24 Fitna al-Khawarij Terrorists Killed

Rawalpindi: Security forces have killed 24 terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed proxy Fitna al-Khawarij during major intelligence-based operations conducted in Bannu and surrounding areas over the past 24 hours.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched following recent attacks on police personnel in Bannu and a vehicle-borne suicide bombing.

The terrorists had targeted law enforcement agencies and innocent civilians, prompting security forces to launch a large-scale operation aimed at dismantling their network.

Major Blow to Terrorist Networks Under Azm-e-Istehkam

According to the ISPR statement, an intense exchange of fire took place between security forces and the Khawarij during the operation.

A large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the terrorists. The militants were reportedly involved in the killing of innocent civilians and several terrorist attacks.
