Laparoscopic surgery services launched at Nishtar Hospital Multan

Multan (Health Desk) For the first time, laparoscopic surgery services have been officially launched at Nishtar Hospital Multan, which the hospital administration has termed a major medical advancement.

According to a hospital spokesperson, an inauguration ceremony was held in the emergency ward, attended by medical experts and administrative officials.

The Vice Chancellor of Nishtar Hospital said that this is a historic moment for the Department of Surgery as modern surgical facilities are now available. He added that this facility will especially benefit low-income patients, as the procedure is less painful and relatively low-cost.

Hospital authorities stated that with the start of this service, patients from South Punjab will no longer need to travel to major cities for advanced medical treatment.
