Islamabad (Web Desk): Iran’s newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, on his first official visit accompanied by a high-level political and economic delegation. A grand and historic reception was arranged for the distinguished guest at Nur Khan Airbase, where he was presented with a 21-gun salute upon his arrival in Pakistan.

In accordance with diplomatic protocol, Pakistan’s top leadership was present at the airbase to welcome the Iranian President. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif warmly received President Masoud Pezeshkian.
