Defence Cooperation: Teachers described the “Makkah Joint Defence Agreement” as a milestone for unity, self-respect and lasting peace in the Muslim world.

Muzaffarabad — On the joyous occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day, the teaching community of Azad Jammu and Kashmir conveyed a special message to the nation and younger generation, expressing deep love and devotion for the homeland.

Teachers said that the creation of Pakistan was the result of the extraordinary struggle and immense sacrifices of millions of Muslims of the subcontinent, and that safeguarding this legacy is a collective national responsibility.

Representatives of the teaching community said:

“As Kashmiris, our relationship with Pakistan is not merely geographical; it is rooted in faith, shared emotions, history and common sacrifices. The Pakistan Armed Forces have defeated the enemy on every front and in every battle for truth, making the nation proud.”

Modern Education, Technology and Youth Participation in Nation-Building

Teachers reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the intellectual, moral and civic development of students alongside their educational responsibilities.

They emphasized the need to promote young people in science, research and information technology in line with modern requirements so that Pakistan can achieve greater economic and technological self-reliance.

On the occasion, the teachers also welcomed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, describing it as an important and far-reaching development for Muslim unity, sovereignty and lasting peace in the region.
