Independence Day: Central Muslim League Announces Four-Day Nationwide Celebrations

Preparations are in full swing for a four-day nationwide Independence Day programme organized by the Central Muslim League under the slogan, “Message of Freedom — The System of La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah.” The celebrations will formally begin on Tuesday with All Parties Conferences (APCs) being held in Lahore and other cities across the country.

Schedule and Major Activities

Special programmes have been arranged for people from different walks of life to celebrate Independence Day with national spirit and enthusiasm.

All Parties Conferences — Tuesday:

APCs will be held across the country, where leaders of political and religious parties will address participants. The Lahore conference, being held at a local hotel, will be addressed by Central Muslim League President Khalid Masood Sindhu and other leaders.

Independence Rallies — August 12 and 13:

Nationwide rallies will be organized by women, students and representatives of various sectors, while special Independence Day camps will also be established.

Friday Sermons — August 14:

On Independence Day, religious scholars will focus their Friday sermons on the “Ideology of Pakistan.” Special programmes will also be organized at union council and district levels.

Vision for a Strong and Victorious Pakistan

Central Muslim League spokesperson Dr. Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi said in his policy statement that Pakistan was established on the basis of the Kalima Tayyaba, but unfortunately, the system envisioned through the Kalima has not yet been implemented in the country.

He stated that the implementation of an Islamic system is the only solution to the country’s political and economic crises. He also maintained that attempts by hostile forces to weaken Pakistan had failed and described Pakistan as a strong, united and victorious country.

Economic Stability and Defence Partnership

Dr. Muzammil Hashmi highlighted the recent defence agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye as an important indication of Pakistan’s growing strength and strategic partnerships.

The Central Muslim League reiterated its commitment to supporting all positive national initiatives aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s development, security, sovereignty and stability.
