Lahore (Showbiz Desk) — Senior Pakistani actress Shaista Jabeen has openly criticized veteran actor Firdous Jamal over his alleged attitude toward women, saying that she would never work with him again.
Speaking during a private TV morning show, Shaista Jabeen said that a person’s ego, nature, and upbringing shape or destroy their character. According to her, Firdous Jamal is undoubtedly a great actor, but if a person is not good in character, then success loses its value.
The actress stated that she worked with Firdous Jamal only once, and that experience alone was enough for her. Shaista Jabeen alleged that Firdous Jamal makes inappropriate remarks about women, adding that she does not even like listening to such conversations.
She further said that Firdous Jamal has also spoken against several senior artists in the past, despite the fact that those artists will always be remembered for their work and reputation, and their status cannot be diminished by anyone’s statements.
