Gold Prices Increase Across the Country, Per Tola Rate Reaches New Record Level

Karachi (Business Desk) The upward trend in gold prices continues in bullion markets across Pakistan, making jewellery purchases further expensive.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of per tola gold has increased by 800 rupees, bringing the new rate to 493,962 rupees.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by 686 rupees, setting the new rate at 423,492 rupees.

On the other hand, an increase was also observed in the global gold market, where the price of per ounce gold rose by 8 dollars to reach 4,716 dollars.

According to experts, the rise in gold prices is being driven by global economic uncertainty and investors’ growing preference for safe-haven investments.
