Aryan Khan’s Arrest Brought Back Painful Memories, Says Rhea Chakraborty

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has said that the arrest of Aryan Khan brought back painful memories of her brother’s arrest, describing that period as one of the most difficult times of her life.

The 33-year-old actress said in a recent conversation that the legal proceedings against Aryan Khan and the public reaction surrounding the case reminded her of her brother, Showik Chakraborty, who was also arrested in a case and was later cleared of the charges.

According to the actress, there were several similarities between the cases involving Aryan and Showik, which made it emotionally difficult for her to watch the events unfold. She said it felt as though she was reliving the same painful phase once again.

Rhea Chakraborty also spoke about her time in jail and its psychological impact. She stated that the most difficult aspect of imprisonment is being separated from family and facing uncertainty about the future, which places immense mental pressure on an individual.

She admitted that for a long period she viewed herself as a victim and experienced severe emotional and psychological stress during that time.

It is worth noting that following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty faced intense public and media scrutiny. However, she was later cleared of the allegations by the investigating authorities.

Regarding her professional activities, Rhea Chakraborty was recently seen in the television show MTV Roadies Double Cross. She has also entered the fashion industry by launching her own clothing brand.
