Amnesty: India Aiding Israel’s Military Campaign in Gaza
2,596 Shipments of Military Equipment and Weapons Sent from India to Israel Between October 2023 and November 2025
New Delhi / London — Amnesty International, in its latest investigative report, has strongly criticised the Modi government, alleging that India is contributing to international crimes in Gaza by continuously supplying Israel with lethal weapons and military equipment.
According to the report, more than 2,596 consignments of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment were transferred from India to Israel between October 7, 2023, and November 30, 2025.
Details of Lethal Equipment Sent to Israeli Defence Companies
Amnesty International reported that the exports included machine-gun components, artillery shells, drone warheads, and parts for armoured vehicles.
The equipment was reportedly delivered to leading Israeli defence companies, including Elbit Systems, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, and Israel Aerospace Industries.

The report identified exports by several private arms manufacturers as well as the Indian state-owned company Munitions India Limited.
Lack of Transparency and Accountability in India’s Legal System
Amnesty International noted that India’s existing legal framework contains no statutory mechanism requiring authorities to assess international humanitarian law obligations and human rights risks before approving arms exports.
India has also not signed the international Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).

Call for an Immediate Arms Embargo
The organisation said it sought a response from the Indian government regarding the matter in June and July 2026, but received no reply from New Delhi.
Amnesty International called on the Modi government to immediately halt all transfers of weapons and military equipment to Israel. It also urged the international community to impose a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel and ensure justice and remedies for affected Palestinians.
