Islamabad — Balochistan National Party (BNP) President Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad. The meeting was attended by a senior BNP delegation and focused on Pakistan's overall political situation, with particular attention to the security challenges in Balochistan.

Both leaders expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan, stating that the prevailing circumstances are a matter of serious concern for the country's future.
