Ziarat Tragedy: Government Delegation Opens Talks With Sit-In Committee

Quetta: Negotiations have begun between the provincial government and the sit-in committee to secure approval of the demands raised by the families of those martyred in the Ziarat tragedy and to bring the protest to an end.

A high-level government delegation led by the provincial home minister and health minister is holding important discussions with the demonstrators.

Government Delegation: Leadership and Members

The official delegation sent to negotiate with the sit-in participants and the bereaved families is being led by Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau and Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar.

Quetta Commissioner Shahzaib Khan and other senior officials

Position of the All Parties Group and Sit-In Committee

On the other side, political leaders representing the protest committee and the All Parties group are also present at the negotiating table.

These representatives include Rahim Ziaratwal, Nasrullah Zerey, Asghar Khan Achakzai, Haji Dilawar Khan and other prominent political and social figures, who are presenting the demands of the bereaved families before the government.
