DG ISPR Holds Special Session with Students at Summer Camp 2026

Rawalpindi — The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations held a special and informative session with students participating in the ISPR Summer Camp 2026. The session focused in detail on national security, counterterrorism, and contemporary challenges facing Pakistan.

More than 4,000 male and female students from grades nine to twelve, representing over 18 cities across Pakistan, are participating in this year’s summer camp. The programme aims to promote intellectual awareness and national consciousness among young people.

Effective Awareness of Internal and External Security Challenges

During the special session, students received a comprehensive briefing on Pakistan’s geostrategic position and the defence of its borders. Participants shared their views at the conclusion of the session.

Exposure of Hostile Designs: Detailed information was presented regarding the alleged terrorist activities of Indian proxies in Balochistan, as well as groups described as Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij.

Understanding Internal and External Threats: Students said the session helped them better understand the complex security challenges facing Pakistan.

Relationship Between the Armed Forces and the Public: The briefing emphasised that unity between the people and the armed forces is fundamental to strengthening national defence.

Fifth-Generation Warfare: Countering Disinformation and Propaganda

The session highlighted growing concerns that information warfare and social media propaganda are increasingly being used against states in the digital era, alongside conventional methods of conflict.
