In a highly concerning security breach, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, along with three others, was abducted by unidentified armed men in the Mastung district of Balochistan on Thursday.

According to local reports and security sources, Vice Chancellor Professor Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Pro-Vice Chancellor Saeed Manzoor Ahmed, Lecturer Shakeel Ahmed, and their driver were traveling for official university business when they were intercepted.
Witnesses suggest that armed men on four motorcycles signaled the official vehicle to stop in a sensitive area of Mastung. The victims were then forcibly moved to an undisclosed location at gunpoint.
