Marking the first anniversary of Maarka-e-Haq (Operation Bunyan-e-Marsoos), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, declared that Pakistan’s defense has become an "impregnable fortress" against foreign aggression.
The Victory of Ideology
Addressing the commemorative ceremony, the Field Marshal characterized Maarka-e-Haq as a decisive battle between two ideologies where "Truth triumphed over Falsehood." He emphasized that the overwhelming response to Indian aggression was a testament to the unified strength of the Pakistani people and the Armed Forces.
A Warning to the East and a Call to the West
Field Marshal Munir delivered a stern warning to India, noting that their dream of altering the regional power balance remains unfulfilled.
On India: "The enemy must know that future misadventures will face results that are not just dangerous, but painful and far-reaching."
On Afghanistan: He called for a complete end to terrorist sanctuaries on Afghan soil, vowing that the war against terror will continue until the last extremist is eliminated.
The Future of Warfare: AI and Cyber Domains
Highlighting a strategic shift in military doctrine, the Field Marshal announced:
New Defense HQ: The establishment of the Defence Forces Headquarters to modernize the military.
Technological Integration: Future conflicts will be "Multi-Domain," heavily utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Drones, and Cyber Warfare.
Diplomatic Milestones
The Field Marshal lauded the strategic defense agreement with Saudi Arabia as a "monumental milestone" and noted that the global community, including the US and Iran, has expressed complete confidence in Pakistan’s leadership as it hosts historic peace talks.
