Train services from Balochistan to other parts of the country have been restored from today (Wednesday) after remaining suspended for two days.
According to Pakistan Railways officials, train operations from Balochistan were temporarily suspended on May 18 and 19 due to unavoidable circumstances.
Railway authorities said the Jaffar Express from Quetta to Peshawar remained cancelled for two days, while the Peshawar-to-Quetta Jaffar Express operated only up to Jacobabad during the suspension period.
Officials confirmed that following the restoration of train services, the Jaffar Express will depart from Quetta for Peshawar today at its scheduled time of 9am.
The Jaffar Express arriving from Peshawar is also expected to reach Quetta on Wednesday afternoon.
