Three Years of SIFC Facilitation: Pakistan’s IT Sector Has Emerged as a Regional Tech Hub, Startup Valuation Surpasses $4 Billion

Islamabad: As a result of three years of active facilitation and effective policy implementation by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Pakistan's IT and digital sector is achieving new milestones of rapid growth. Supported by comprehensive policies and government initiatives, Pakistan is rapidly emerging as a major regional technology hub driven by a modern digital economy.

Global Tech Events and Growth in Digital Exports

With the support of SIFC, international investment and global connectivity have increased significantly, enabling Pakistan to successfully host major international technology events such as ITCN Asia. In addition, programs such as Indus AI Week have played a key role in promoting artificial intelligence and advanced digital skills across the country.

On the infrastructure front, the scope of Supernet Global has been expanded, contributing to a notable increase in Pakistan's digital exports and foreign exchange earnings.

Under SIFC's forward-looking strategy, the formal rollout of 5G spectrum services has begun in Pakistan, laying the foundation for a new era of high-speed connectivity and digital transformation.
