QUETTA, May 23: The Government of Balochistan has intensified efforts to support deserving students through scholarship initiatives aimed at expanding access to higher education across the province. Separate events held in Loralai and Zhob highlighted ongoing measures to financially assist talented students and encourage academic excellence. Meanwhile, an orientation session on scholarships for female students was organized at Government Girls Degree College in Zhob under the education reform vision of the Balochistan government. Officials informed participants that, with support from the World Bank, 400 fully funded scholarships have been introduced for female students across the province. The scholarship program is designed for intermediate graduates seeking admission to four-year BS programs. Selected students will have the opportunity to study at leading universities in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, with all educational expenses covered by the provincial government. Officials encouraged eligible students to apply on time and make full use of the opportunity to secure a brighter academic future.
