Terrorist Networks Linked to India and Afghanistan: Zia Langau

Quetta: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has said that elements involved in terrorism in the province have no connection with the struggle for Baloch rights. He alleged that their leadership is based in Afghanistan and that their networks are linked to India.

He said security forces successfully foiled a major terrorist plot in Mastung through timely action.

Timely Security Operation in Mastung

Addressing a press conference, the Balochistan Home Minister said militants positioned in the mountains attempted to open fire on security forces. Police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel responded effectively and repelled the attack.

Mir Ziaullah Langau said the militants were not fighting for the rights of the Baloch people but were instead violating local traditions and causing instability in the province.

He alleged that terrorists were using women and children as human shields during their operations, describing the tactic as a cowardly act.

He urged the people of Balochistan to reject what he described as misleading propaganda and called for unity in working toward a peaceful future for the province.

“The Baloch people should not fall for the terrorists’ false narrative; we must stand united and think about the peaceful future of our province.”
