A wave of grief and fear has swept through the educational community in Noshki following a brutal armed attack at the Government Boys High School Jamaldini. Unidentified gunmen stormed the school library during a Parent-Teacher Council Management Committee (PTCMC) meeting, opening indiscriminate fire.
Casualties and Incident Details
The targeted shooting resulted in the martyrdom of two individuals:
Mr. Akram: A highly respected teacher and "architect of the nation."
Haq Nawaz Jamaldini: A dedicated member of the PTCMC.
The Government Teachers Association (GTA) Noshki has termed the incident "heart-wrenching" and a "moment of reflection" for the entire society.
Security Failure and Psychological Impact
The GTA Noshki expressed deep concern over the vulnerability of educational institutions. They highlighted that schools—intended to be sanctuaries of peace and learning—have now become targets. Such violence not only disrupts the academic environment but also inflicts lasting psychological trauma on young students.
Demands for Accountability
The Association has issued an urgent appeal to the Government of Balochistan, specifically the Deputy Commissioner, SP Noshki, and the District Education Officer, demanding:
An immediate, transparent, and impartial investigation into the attack.
The swift arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.
The implementation of rigorous security measures across all educational institutes in the district.
Defending the Future
"An attack on teachers is an attack on the future of our nation," the GTA spokesperson stated. The association vowed to continue advocating for the safety of educators and students to prevent the society from sliding into a state of fear and ignorance.
