Relocation of Sui Gas Flaring Stack for Public Safety
In a major decision targeting environmental remediation and public health safety, the Chief Minister approved the relocation of the industrial gas flaring stack away from the local residential areas. Expressing strict timelines, CM Bugti directed relevant quarters to accelerate the technical assessment and execution of the shifting process to mitigate hazardous emissions near urban populations.
Interventions on Sui Water Crisis
Addressing the acute water scarcity in Sui, the Chief Minister expressed deep concern and reprimanded the slow administrative response. He categorized the supply of clean drinking water as a non-negotiable priority for the provincial administration, stating:
"Uninterrupted water supply must be guaranteed to every single citizen of Sui during these peak summer months. Absolute zero tolerance will be maintained against any administrative negligence or operational delays."
To execute this directive instantly, the Chief Minister ordered the civil administration and the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department to launch joint emergency measures to restore regular water supply lines.
