Islamabad — Significant progress has been made in economic ties and bilateral investment between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as a result of the coordinated strategy and facilitation provided by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). A high-level Saudi business delegation, led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council, visited Pakistan for important discussions aimed at finalizing partnerships across several strategic sectors.

Investment Priorities in Key Sectors

SIFC presented the Saudi delegation with a conducive investment environment and attractive opportunities across Pakistan’s major economic sectors, with detailed discussions held on concrete projects.

Priority Sectors: The meetings reviewed public- and private-sector investment opportunities in energy, petroleum, privatization, heavy industry, communications and highways.

G2G and B2B Frameworks: The delegation held government-to-government discussions with state representatives while also establishing direct business-to-business engagements with leading private-sector business figures.

Practical Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives

The central focus of the visit was to move beyond traditional diplomatic discussions and translate bilateral cooperation into concrete investment and business initiatives.

Pathway for Joint Ventures: Both sides agreed to facilitate sustainable partnerships, memorandums of understanding and joint investment frameworks.

Investor Protection and Facilitation: SIFC reiterated its commitment to providing Saudi businesses with one-window facilitation and assured them of swift administrative clearances.
