This decision was taken after the recent knife attack in Golders Green, following which cricket authorities immediately reviewed security measures. According to Surrey club management, they are in continuous contact with the police and security levels are being further improved according to the situation. The club stated that every possible effort is being made so that people coming to the ground feel safe.
