Security Forces Operation in Killi Zaik, Balochistan: 2 Fitna al-Hindustan Terrorists Killed
Quetta: Security forces are continuing targeted operations against terrorists associated with Fitna al-Hindustan to maintain law and order and eliminate militant elements in Balochistan. According to security sources, two terrorists were killed and three others were seriously injured during a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Basima, Washuk district.
Operation Launched on Intelligence in the Area Between Basima and Kaghli
Security forces received credible intelligence that terrorists were planning acts of sabotage in the mountainous and difficult terrain between Killi Zaik and Kaghli, located around 12 kilometers north of Basima Camp. After effectively cordoning off the area, security forces launched the operation. The terrorists opened indiscriminate fire, prompting an immediate and effective response from the security personnel.
Terrorist Identified, Weapons and Explosives Recovered
Following an intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed at the scene, while three of their associates were injured.
Identification of Terrorist: One of the deceased terrorists was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed alias Koh Yar, who was wanted in connection with several serious attacks against security forces.
Recovery of Weapons and Explosives: A large quantity of ammunition, rifle magazines, hand grenades and materials used to manufacture improvised explosive devices (IEDs) was recovered from the terrorists’ hideout.
Commitment to Lasting Peace in Balochistan
Security sources said that operations will continue without interruption until lasting peace is established and terrorism is completely eliminated from Balochistan. The search operation has also been expanded to apprehend possible facilitators and injured terrorists who may have fled the area.
