Security Forces Kill 26 BLA Militants in Major Operations Across Balochistan
QUETTA: Security forces carried out a series of coordinated operations across Kalat, Kharan, Tump, Quetta, and Khuzdar districts of Balochistan, killing 26 militants linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), according to security sources.
The operations were conducted with the support of SSG commandos and Cobra helicopter gunships, targeting militant hideouts and operational networks in multiple areas.
Security officials said the crackdown resulted in the dismantling of a significant militant network operating in the province. Several key commanders and facilitators were reportedly among those killed during the operations.
Sources further claimed that individuals believed to be the masterminds behind the recent Quetta bombing were also eliminated during the intelligence-based actions.
The operations are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security, disrupt militant infrastructure, and prevent future attacks in Balochistan.
