Quetta (Web Desk): In a major move to strengthen security measures and improve passenger monitoring, the Transport Authority has made the use of the “Travel Eye” software mandatory for all long-route public transport operating from Quetta.

According to an official notification, complete passenger details must now be recorded for every traveler using long-distance transport services. The software has already been provided to the relevant transport companies to ensure smooth implementation.

Under the new guidelines, transport operators and terminal administrations have been instructed not to issue tickets to any passenger without valid identification documents, including a national identity card or B-Form. Transport companies are also required to upload passenger data into the system daily and provide travel records to the concerned police station on a regular basis.

The Transport Authority has warned that strict action will be taken against companies that fail to use the software, conceal passenger information, or issue tickets without proper documentation. Penalties may include suspension or permanent cancellation of route permits.
