Quetta: Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau Chairs High-Level Security Meeting; Orders Tightening of Security After Chaman Phatak Blast
QUETTA: In a bid to reinforce provincial security, Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau chaired a high-level meeting in Quetta to comprehensively review the law and order situation and assess counter-terrorism strategies across the province.

The apex meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Home Hamza Shafqaat, top officials of the Balochistan Police, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), and representatives of other law enforcement agencies. The forum was thoroughly briefed on the current security paradigms and emerging challenges in the province.
Special Briefing on Chaman Phatak Blast Investigation
A key agenda of the session was a dedicated briefing on the ongoing investigation into the recent Chaman Phatak bomb blast. Intelligence and investigative heads presented updates on forensic breakthroughs, lead tracking, and operations executed to dismantle the responsible terror networks. Following the briefing, the chair finalized several critical and high-impact decisions to ensure sustainable peace.

Addressing the participants, Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau reiterated the government's unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism. He emphasized the following policy directives:
