Quetta: High-Level Security Meeting Chaired by Mohsin Naqvi and Sarfraz Bugti
Quetta — Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid an important visit to Quetta, where he held a detailed meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. Later, the two leaders jointly chaired a high-level meeting to review the law-and-order situation in the province.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed participants on Balochistan’s overall security situation, ongoing operations, and the future strategy formulated to establish lasting peace.
Agreement to Equip Police and CTD with Modern Technology
The meeting approved several important measures to bring the professional capabilities of the Balochistan Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in line with international standards.

Full Federal Support:
The Ministry of Interior assured the immediate provision of all required logistical and financial resources to the security forces.
Implementation of the Master Plan:
Instructions were issued for the immediate and effective implementation of the comprehensive master plan aimed at restoring peace in Balochistan.
Consultation with Former Inspectors General:
It was decided to benefit from the experience of former chiefs of the Balochistan Police while formulating the province’s law-and-order strategy.
Use of Modern Technology:
The meeting approved the implementation of an advanced intelligence network, modern surveillance technology, and an integrated strategy to eliminate terrorism.
